Greenpeace Organizing Term Fall 2006 – Anti-Oppression

On October 4, 2006, the 10 students in Greenpeace’s Organizing Term of Fall 2006 received an anti-oppression training facilitated by satya from the Ruckus Society.  In the 4 1/2-hour training, they discussed the institutional systems of oppression in our world and how they can resist them in their organizing.  They also learned how to organize on their campaigns to take leadership from the communities most impacted by their issues.
