TRAINING FOR NATIVE TRAINERS (TNT)

DENVER, COLORADO

April 18th-23rd, 2006

Greetings everyone! The Ruckus IP3 is pleased to announce the Ruckus Training for Native Trainers! …or as I like to call it, the TNT (’cause it’s DY-NO-MYTE!!!). This is an opportunity for Native leaders, freedom fighters, and organizers to learn to train in Ruckus’ brand of Creative Peaceful Action while developing the methods and tools that best suit our people to defend our rights. The dates have just been finalized, April 19th – 23rd! Our gracious host is the Indigenous Training Resource Council of Denver, Colorado.

But wait, there’s more…
Members of the IP3 Trainers Circle will be a part of a training collective that will support Native communities fighting for Environmental Justice all over Turtle Island. We will be helping to prepare for and carry out solidarity actions in support of ongoing campaigns. Training/action opportunities are already surfacing and needing our support!

…Immediately following the TNT, April 23-25, IP3 Trainers and Ruckus Network volunteers will be supporting a creative peaceful actions with the Denver chapter of A.I.M. and the Stop Newmont Coalition to crash the shareholders meeting of Newmont Mining Company on Tuesday April 25, 2006. Action planning skills learned in the TNT will be immediately engaged as we plan actions with impacted local and international communities that Newmont’s operations threaten with their Dirty Gold practices. All are highly encouraged to stay and play.

TRAVEL DAYS for the TNT will be April 18th and the 23rd.
